With the restrictions being lifted slowly, Platinum will soon be able to welcome interns back to our Sydney and Melbourne office to conduct internship from Monday,1st November 2021.

To ensure we are limiting the contact and potential spread of the virus, you are still highly recommended to continue with the online internship. The support from Accountant Hours and Internship Hours will be available during the workdays.

Also, to make sure that we comply with the 1.5-meter healthy social distancing rule, number of interns limitation will apply in the office. The technical issue with regard to Xero Tax access has been resolved. You should be able to log in Xero Tax again now to continue your work.

8 February 2021: Technical issue related to Xero Tax access 

To all students who enrolled in Tax Accountant program or entitled to Tax Accountant program as part of your enrolled courses, we are experiencing technical difficulties with Xero Tax and we are endeavour to work with the consultant to get it fixed ASAP.
Please kindly perform all your tax return tasks in Excel worksheet per the initial process before moving onto Xero Tax while waiting for this issue to be resolved.

11 January 2021: Brisbane Office is Temporarily Closed 

Platinum Brisbane physical office's closure is commencing from Mon, 11th Jan 2021 till further notice due to the unfavoured increasing COVID-19 affected cases in QLD. The support from Accountants’ Hours and Internship Supervisor Hours will still be in operation as usual.

8 January 2021: Public Holiday Notice 

Platinum business offices including online operation will be CLOSED across Australia on Tue, 26^th Jan 2021 due to Public Holiday – Australia Day. We all will return to normal business operation on Wed, 27^th Jan 2021.

8 January 2021: Sydney Office is re-opened from 11th Jan 2021

Platinum Sydney physical office will be re-opened commencing from Mon, 11^th Jan 2021 thanks to the restrictions being lifted slowly. To make sure that we comply with the 1.5 meter healthy social distancing rule, we need to have a clear idea of the number of attendees in the office. Please make sure you pre-book with the office staff before turning up to the office by sending email to [email protected]. 

To ensure we are limiting the contact and potential spread of the virus, it is strongly recommended that our interns continue with their online internship. The support from Accountant Hours and Internship Hours will be available during the workdays.

8 January 2021: Suspension & Extension Policy

1) Suspension Policy:
In case you could not commit your time during the 6-month period of your program, please kindly submit the completed suspension form. You can find the suspension form under the Welcome to Platinum Professional Training section -> Download Materials -> Welcome Pack -> Suspension Form pdf.
 

2) Extension Policy:
In case your 6-month program time has run out, even after considering the suspension period, you still could not finish the program and require extension, please note that there will be admin fee involved for extension request. The below is the details:

• For 2-month extension, the admin fee is $480+GST
• For 3-month extension, the admin fee is $580+GST
• For any longer than 3 months extension request, please kindly contact our staff directly to seek advice and support.
